Wholesale ethics shouldn't be a marketing line. Here are the policies we audit ourselves against — every year.
Fair-trade pricing
Workshop pay is set against the local cost of living, not the floor of the export market. Reviewed annually with our partner agent in Lahore.
Annual audit
Independent labor and pay audit by a Karachi-based firm. Summary available on request to active trade accounts.
Natural dyes preferred
All textile lines list dye method on the SKU sheet. Natural-dye SKUs are flagged with a Bnd hangtag for retailers.
No-cull policy
We pay for everything we contract — defective pieces are recycled into our seconds program for staff and local non-profits.
Recycled packaging
Cartons are 100% post-consumer recycled. Inner protection is washed cotton dust bags, not poly. Tea tins are tin-plated steel, no foil.
Carbon-aware freight
Sea freight by default. We only air-freight tea harvest sample lots. Outbound LTL consolidated weekly.
What we don't claim
We are not "carbon neutral." We don't buy offsets. We do publish our annual freight tonnage to active trade accounts and have committed to a 4% year-over-year reduction in air freight through 2027.
